ASSISTANT

Overview We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dental office. We're a patient-focused office that values teamwork, professionalism, and creating a positive experience for both our patients and our staff. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures, adhering strictly to infection prevention management and dental sterilization procedures. Assist dentists during various treatments including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialty procedures by handing instruments and managing patient comfort. Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans using advanced imaging technology while maintaining strict adherence to dental x-ray safety protocols. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software such as Eaglesoft ensuring all medical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow efficiency during patient visits. Monitor vital signs and assist in medical imaging procedures to support comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments properly and following infection control standards aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise. Support the dental reception team by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and answering patient inquiries professionally. Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred DA/RDA certification Friendly, positive attitude Reliable and punctual Great communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment Someone who genuinely enjoys helping patients and being part of a team If you're an enthusiastic Dental Assistant looking for a great office to call home, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay:

$20.00 - $31.38 per hour
