This is for an entry level dental assisting position . This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. This position will allow for professional growth as well as financial growth as role expands.
Status:
Starting part-time (25 - 35 hours a week) and expanding to full time in next few months Days needed:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Language :
Knowledge of Spanish highly recommended/preferred Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take digital dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries. Sterilize and pack instruments while adhered to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, consent forms and update treatment plans in the dental software system. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Skills Ability to speak Spanish highly preferred Knowledge of instrument sterilization using autoclave following safety protocols Experience with medical imaging techniques and X-ray procedures is essential. Proficiency in dental software (training will be provided for our in-office software) Knowledge of endodontics, prosthodontics, general dentistry, and pediatrics is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
