Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. This role involves supporting the dentist during patient procedures, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. The position is scheduled for Fridays only, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a part-time role within a professional dental practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide patients with instructions for oral care and post-treatment procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office and sterilization of equipment. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow during the scheduled hours. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or certification is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques is desirable. Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled hours on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities accurately.
