- We are willing to train
- Dental Assistant Job Duties include (but not limited to):
- Familiarizing with Endodontic treatment (will provide training for those who do not have experience with Endodontics)
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining proper infection control
- Chairside Assisting including taking x-rays, cleaning rooms, and setting up treatments
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory control
- Maintain employee documentation up to date including hiring and training of office staff
- Organizational skills and ability to be able to learn how the office runs is a must
Required:
- X-ray Certification, RDA license (recommended, but not required)
- Understanding and abiding Infection Control, HIPAA, & OSHA keeping all documentation up to date
- Ordering supplies and inventory control is a must
- Knowledgeable with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Having front desk experience is also a plus! Job duties include (but not limited to) :
- Clerical skills in assisting front desk duties
- Answering phone
- Scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance eligibility & benefits
- Filing charts
- etc.
