The position is for RDA or DA full-
Time:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. We are a modern, computerized office with one dentist practicing general and cosmetic dentistry, committed to providing the best-individualized patient care possible in a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment. If you are a friendly, gentle, efficient, dedicated, responsible, and reliable RDA or DA with strong work and personal ethics and a fun work attitude, we are waiting for you to apply! X-Ray and coronal polish licenses are required, as well as strong communication skills (verbal and written), and computer and customer service skills. We perform all phases of dentistry. Duties Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection prevention management policies. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including dental x-ray imaging and 3D scans, adhering to radiation safety standards. Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct vital signs measurements and medical documentation to assist in comprehensive patient assessments. Process dental instruments and maintain dental equipment to ensure optimal functionality and infection control standards. Support patient care by providing clear explanations of procedures, managing appointment schedules as a dental receptionist when needed, and ensuring positive patient experiences. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software for efficient patient management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across various specialties including pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Expertise in dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic techniques to uphold clinical confidentiality policies. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools with precision. Familiarity with dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting to enhance workflow efficiency. Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare infection control practices. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and educating patients about oral health care practices.
