Job Description

Orthodontic Assistant for quality oriented private practice. Dental Assisting school graduates are encouraged to apply! Dr. Berro enjoys mentoring new graduates and is committed to helping them build a strong foundation for a successful career.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including installing braces, adjusting wires, and placing aligners. Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment. Fabricate and fit orthodontic appliances, such as retainers. Remove braces, wires, and bands as needed. Maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques specific to orthodontic care. Instruct patients on general oral health care, as directed by the orthodontist. Ensure compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, and Dental Board requirements. Take digital orthodontic records including x-rays and photographs. Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary:
$22 to $32 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Part-time, 24 hours per week Monday & Tuesday 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays:
8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Benefits:
Includes medical, dental, 401(k) match, paid sick leave, and vacation time.
