About the role
Overview
Pay:
Starting at $25/hour — higher rates available based on experience, certifications, and clinical skill level.
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant / RDA to join our team in Sherman Oaks. This is a full-time role for someone who is motivated, dependable, clinically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment.
For highly experienced candidates with strong chairside skills and the ability to work independently, we are open to offering higher compensation.
Schedule
Full-Time — Monday through Saturday
Additional shifts may also be available across our network of offices based on performance and availability.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients and ensure a comfortable experience
Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
Take digital X-rays and impressions
Maintain strict sterilization protocols and clean operatories
Monitor supplies and lab cases
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly logs
Call in prescriptions as directed
Provide clear and accurate post-operative instructions
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
Perform additional clinical and office duties as needed
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
DA or RDA experience
Strong chairside and clinical assisting skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, Diamond Dental, or similar dental software
Current California X-ray License
Current CPR/BLS
8-Hour Infection Control Certification
Hepatitis B documentation as applicable
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
Able to commute to Sherman Oaks and Encino
