Welcome to Ladybug Kids Dental & Orthodontics! We are an established modern state-of-the-art children's dental office in Norwalk seeking a full-time dental assistant who loves working with children! Schedule is weekdays 7:50am-5pm, and rotating Saturdays from 7:50am-2pm. We are hoping to find and keep staff members who work well as a team and become like family. For the right applicant, we would like to build a long-term relationship, with mentorship, training, and career advancement within the company.

Requirements/Duties:

Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Chart for the doctor during examination and explain treatment to parents/patients. Schedule follow-up appointments and complete electronic patient notes. Safely remove instruments and wipe down treatment rooms, run suction cleaner to clean the lines. Sterilize and bag instruments. Escort patients to exam and treatment rooms, showing care and confidence to help relieve patient's anxiety and make parents feel comfortable. Check patient's medical history Bilingual (Spanish, English) Additional Duties Set up treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring that treatment rooms are always stocked. Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including pulpotomy, SSC, fillings, extractions and space maintainers. Ability to work in a fast-paced office RDA license is a plus We use
