Job Description

Seeking part-time Guest Service Agent to work the Front Desk Night Audit relief (graveyard) for the Best Western Norwalk Inn in Norwalk, CA. We are looking to add a new member to our team, and are hoping to find someone who is willing to learn, fits into our team well, and is willing to work together with us to provide our guests with an excellent experience during their stay with us. No prior Hotel or Customer Service experience is required, but it is preferred. Required availability to work afternoons and on weekends. We will not be requiring our new team member to work every single weekend, but we do require availability to work on the weekends.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner Check-in guests / Guest registration Check-out guests and provide invoices/receipts when appropriate Make, manage, modify, and cancel reservations Checking, responding, and filing e-mails and faxes for reservations Answer and handle phones (multiple lines) in a professional and timely manner Respond to guest requests and inquiries Resolve guest issues, complaints, and/or concerns in a timely and friendly manner Provide guest with recommendations for dining, entertainment, and activities nearby Interact and communicate with housekeeping about rooms checked-out/dirty/cleaned Interact and communicate with maintenance about rooms requiring attention and completion of projects
Requirements:
Good multitasking ability is a must Excellent customer service skills Ability to stand long periods of time Ability to handle stress and work under pressure Have decent to proficient computer skills Organized and professional Reliable transportation (Required)
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$17.00 - $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
