Dental Assisting Full Job Description Pay:
$26.00 - $35.00 per hour, opportunity for full time position Job Summary We are seeking a personable, efficient, and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional dental experiences, prioritizing patient comfort and top-quality care. Our practice offers a broad range of dental services at a specialist level, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on learning in a rewarding, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists and hygienists with chairside procedures, including prosthodontics and oral surgery Perform four-handed dentistry with precision and efficiency Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in OpenDental Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Adhere to HIPAA and all privacy/confidentiality protocols Uphold strict standards for infection control and universal precautions Educate and communicate effectively with patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care Experience Previous dental assisting experience preferred Familiarity with OpenDental software a plus Knowledge of prosthodontics, cosmetic, or surgical procedures advantageous Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Qualifications Completion of a Dental Assisting Program (RDA certification preferred but not required) In-depth knowledge of infection control and universal precautions Dependable, professional, and team-oriented CPR Certification (Required)
