Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery settings. Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while maintaining proper aseptic techniques Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient care and treatment planning Support patient management by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and providing clear instructions for post-treatment care Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards and dental sterilization procedures Skills Proficiency with dental software including EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient medical documentation and records management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Expertise in dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, and infection prevention management to uphold safety standards Skilled in chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency and patient comfort Experience with dental x-ray techniques, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology for accurate diagnosis Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and provide exceptional patient care Ability to adhere strictly to clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive medical information Join us in delivering outstanding dental care by supporting our team with your technical expertise, compassionate approach, and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Pay:
