Job Description
Our established, patient-centered dental practice in San Ramon, CA is seeking an experienced Full-Time or Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist / Dental Assistant Floater to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate professional with at least 1 year of dental front office experience with flexibility to assist dentist as needed, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and comfortable assisting in both front office duties and clinical as needed. Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Some Saturdays required Responsibilities Front office responsibilities including scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, and treatment coordination Assist the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, preventive, and emergency procedures as needed Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments as needed Take and process digital dental X-rays (current X-ray certification preferred) Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Monitor inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all infection control protocols Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental front office experience including insurance verification and scheduling (required) Current California Dental X-ray certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Eligible benefits may include: 401(k) Paid time off Employee discount Flexible scheduling On-the-job training Opportunities for professional development Experience Required Front office : 1 year (Required) Dental assisting experience preferred If you're looking for a practice where you can build lasting relationships with patients, grow professionally, and work alongside a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
