Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Dental Assistant Established, Patient-Centered Dental Practice We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team part-time. This is a great opportunity for new grads looking to to be part of a supportive, organized, and high-performing practice that values both clinical excellence and team culture. Schedule 2-4 days per week Must be able to work Thursdays and Fridays Office hours are 9am to 5pm Oral surgery days can start as early as 7am Clinical Responsibilities ✔ Assist doctor chairside during a variety of procedures ✔ Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories ✔ Take diagnostic X-rays ✔ Perform coronal polishing (must be licensed) ✔ Maintain accurate and thorough clinical notes ✔ Ensure smooth patient flow and turnover between appointments ✔ Follow infection control and OSHA protocols ✔ Assist with oral surgery and endo cases when scheduled Required Hard Skills ✔ Coronal polishing certification (required per state guidelines) ✔ Digital X-ray proficiency ✔ Experience with Dentrix ✔ Comfortable working in a paperless office ✔ Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials ✔ Strong understanding of sterilization protocols ✔Front office experience is a plus Soft Skills We Value ✔ Punctual and reliable ✔ Positive attitude and professional demeanor ✔ Strong team player ✔ Self-starter with initiative ✔ Excellent communication skills ✔ Detail-oriented and organized ✔ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment ✔ Patient-focused with a warm, friendly presence What We Offer Hourly pay DOE Opportunity to grow and expand skills Supportive, team-oriented environment Modern, organized, and efficient practice If you take pride in your work, thrive in a collaborative setting, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we would love to meet you!
