What You'll Be Doing As a full-scope Orthodontic Assistant, responsibilities include: Seating and preparing patients for treatment Chairside assisting with orthodontic procedures, including bonding appointments Removing and replacing wires Taking diagnostic photographs and radiographs Performing digital iTero scans Taking and updating patient records Fabricating Essix retainers and aligners Sterilization and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment Patient education and providing excellent patient care Assisting the orthodontist and clinical team as needed Following OSHA, infection control, and sterilization protocols Participating in community events and practice activities Traveling between practice locations as scheduled Orthodontic experience is a plus, but heart, hustle, and a willingness to learn matter more.
