Job Description
Our private dental office is looking for a motivated, positive, registered dental assistant 3 days per week. PTO, holiday pay, 401k, discounted dental work, continuing education reimbursement. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols and aseptic techniques Take dental x-rays Manage patient records with Eaglesoft Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by state law Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment, general dentistry practices Proficiency with dental software-Eaglesoft a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and infection control protocols including dental sterilization procedures Skilled in taking dental x-rays (dental x-ray certification) Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members including dental receptionists and healthcare professionals
