Dental Assistant - Endodontics Practice Lafayette Endodontics | Lafayette, Indiana Full-time | Four-day clinical schedule Monday - Thursday | $24+ per hour Lafayette Endodontics is seeking an experienced, compassionate dental assistant to join our close-knit specialty practice. We are a busy, privately owned endodontic office focused on providing exceptional care in a calm, efficient, and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant who takes pride in clinical excellence, enjoys working as part of a small team, and wants a predictable schedule without evenings or weekends. Previous dental experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train an excellent dental assistant who is eager to learn. Compensation and benefits Starting at $24 per hour Final starting rate based on dental experience, relevant credentials Minimum of 34 paid hours per week for employees available to work their regular schedule, subject to the practice's attendance and PTO policies Four-day clinical workweek Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution No evenings or weekends Specialty training and opportunities for professional growth Scrubs and other practice-provided benefits Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during nonsurgical and surgical endodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment Take high-quality digital radiographs and assist with CBCT imaging Follow sterilization, infection-control, and OSHA protocols Help patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout treatment Maintain accurate clinical documentation Turn over treatment rooms efficiently and keep clinical areas organized Monitor supplies and assist with inventory Communicate effectively with the doctor, patients, referring offices, and other team members Contribute to a positive, dependable, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Endodontic or specialty experience is a plus but is not required Indiana dental radiography qualification or ability to obtain it promptly Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control Dependable, organized, adaptable, and able to work efficiently in a busy clinical setting Warm and professional communication with patients and coworkers Willingness to learn specialized endodontic procedures and technology What we value Our ideal candidate is dependable, clinically capable, kind to patients, and supportive of coworkers.
