Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming, positive experience from check-in through treatment. Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment. Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments in accordance with state regulations. Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select appropriate impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction. Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where permitted by state law. Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages. Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state certification requirements. Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization standards by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and operatories. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies. Support daily office operations, including maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment. Travel occasionally for training and continuing education opportunities as needed. Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.
