Joyful Dentistry for Kids is a values-based, privately owned pediatric dental practice with four locations across the greater Kansas City area. We're seeking a full-time Supra Scaler to join our Overland Park clinical team! We're looking for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, and is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for kids and their families. As a Supra Scaler, you'll play an important role in supporting our doctors and clinical team while providing preventive services within your permitted scope of practice. The ideal candidate is dependable, confident working with children, attentive to detail, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Perform supragingival scaling within permitted scope of practice Apply dental sealants as prescribed and permitted Apply Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) as prescribed and permitted Provide other preventive services within the scope of your training, certification, and applicable Kansas requirements Assist with preventive patient appointments and maintain efficient clinical flow Educate patients and parents on age-appropriate oral hygiene and preventive care Help children feel comfortable, safe, and confident throughout their dental visit Take dental radiographs when appropriately trained and permitted Accurately document treatment and relevant patient information in the clinical record Prepare, clean, disinfect, and turn over treatment areas between patients Follow infection-control, sterilization, and clinical safety protocols Maintain organized and properly stocked clinical areas Communicate effectively with doctors, Dental Assistants, and other team members Support the clinical team as needed throughout the patient day Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude Help create an environment where children can develop a positive relationship with dentistry What We Value JOY

Experience & Qualifications Current qualifications required to perform supragingival scaling in Kansas Pediatric dental experience preferred Dental Assisting experience preferred Experience working with children strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative Location Overland Park, KS (Required)
