Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant/ Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic team part time near route 2. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional patient service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle patient care plans and documentation effectively. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic's calendar. Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation review and filing. Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information using ICD-9 codes. Assist in preparing care plans and communicate treatment options to patients. Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered. Ensure a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. Experience Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and care plans is advantageous. Proficiency in clerical tasks such as typing, documentation review, and filing systems. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
