Full Job Description Schedule:

We are looking for a part time assistant to work Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the possibility of transitioning to full time if desired as the office grows.

Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
• Take digital dental x-rays using a hand held x-ray machine
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
• Perform dental charting and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other team members
• Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records
• Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus We are very team oriented and office culture is very important.
