Today's Pediatric Dentistry- Livonia is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of a Dentist. How you'll make us better: Prepares the examination room for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the Dentist Assists the Dentist during their procedure by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment Greets patients as they arrive Updates and maintains the patients dental records Takes and processes x-rays of patients Schedules patient appointments Takes billing and insurance details from patients Advises patients on recommended oral hygiene Assists Pediatric Dental Hygienist as needed Obtains consent from parents Your special skills: We're proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness.
