Job Description

Our long-standing private dental practice is looking for an energetic, dependable Sterilization Assistant to support our clinical team and help keep each day running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how a dental office works, while learning sterilization and you can grow to become a Dental Assistant/Floater with gaining valuable experience in the dental field. Duties Prepare, clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments using advanced sterilization equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols. Maintain accurate records and document sterilization procedures in compliance with clinical confidentiality policies. Assist with the processing of dental instruments, ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic technique standards. Support the dental team by managing inventory of sterilized instruments , supplies, and ensuring availability for all clinical procedures. Follow infection control guidelines related to dental equipment, X-ray machines, and dental imaging devices to prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists during chairside assisting to facilitate smooth patient flow during procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control policies while maintaining a clean and organized sterilization area.
