Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Record medical documentation accurately, including patient histories, vital signs, and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and waiting areas. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with general dentistry practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
