Job Description

Purpose The HRIS Analyst will support the HRIS Manager by providing ongoing system support, conducting audits, and maintaining and managing HRIS systems to ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational effectiveness. This position will serve as a power user for HRIS reporting on HR data and key metrics while overseeing the collection of HR data and processing of HR records. The HRIS Analyst will oversee system workflows and approve various transactions related to Team Member status changes. This individual will support the HRIS Manager in database updates, managing user accounts, system troubleshooting, and resolving bugs as needed. The HRIS Analyst will serve as support to the Payroll Analyst in weekly payroll processing. The HRIS Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for all areas of Dayforce and partner with HRIS Manager, HR department, and IT team to analyze and configure work process design and flow to maximize efficiencies and technological capabilities. This position requires in-depth knowledge of business and HR systems, HR processes and reporting requirements, company's policies and procedures, and the ability to resolve complex issues. Responsibilities Reviews, updates and designs various transactions and workflows such as terminations, salary changes, position changes, etc. for compliance with company policies and guidelines Supports HRIS Manager in maintenance of HRIS including customization, development, and upgrade of applications, systems, and modules Provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, and guidance to HRIS users Supports and troubleshoots various HRIS applications and processes such as payroll, onboarding, recruitment, performance, compensation, benefits, time & attendance, etc. Collaborates with HRIS Manager and IT to identify system improvements and enhancements Manages permissions, access, personalization, similar system configurations, operations, and settings for HRIS users Programs custom functions and creates SOP documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for HR Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology Works with HRIS Manager to keep HRIS database up to date with changes in Team Member information or organizational structures Serves as the primary backup for the Payroll Analyst, as well as performing assigned responsibilities on a recurring schedule to maintain process knowledge, competency, and coverage readiness. Works with Payroll Analyst on processes and procedures for weekly payroll Assigns user security and permission settings to HRIS end-users Ensures system compliance with established policies, data security, privacy requirements, data integrity, and audit Works with internal stakeholders and vendors to document system requirements for integrations and implementations. Serves as point of contact for file feed development, testing, and implementations Supports manual and automated data loads to and from Dayforce to other systems Troubleshoots, provides solutions, and implements fixes to configuration, file feed, and system issues and creates support tickets providing detailed information Assigns and develops user roles/permissions within HRIS system to include training documents on functionality of those roles. Reviews and audits entries within the HRIS system. Monitors and confirms connection files are functioning properly, and performs manual transfers as needed Creates and maintains HRIS standard operating procedures Performs other duties as required About You 1-3 years of related experience with HRIS/Payroll system required. Experience with Dayforce HCM preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred Retail/Distribution Industry experience a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated interpersonal and technical support skills Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with HR policies and procedures Familiarity with Payroll policies and procedures Ability to keep information confidential Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Familiarity with federal and multi-state laws/regulations Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, project management, and HRIS systems development methodologies Physical Requirements Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
