A qualified candidate must present with a completion of an accredited one year dental assisting program, as well as, a minimum of one year chair-side assisting experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated computer proficiency. The Assistants job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist doctor with all chair-side dental procedures
  • Make x-rays when needed
  • Ensure patient comfort
  • Maintain a sterilized work environment
  • Review patient chart prior to patient arrival and accurately document patient data during exam and treatment Maintain updated information on file for each patient
  • Maintain office inventory
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Follow required OSHA safety procedures
