Job Description

Busy Mooresville Endodontic practice is currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant I or II. Experience in endodontics preferred, but not required. If you have completed an accredited one year dental assisting program, as well as have, a minimum of one year chair-side assisting experience give our office a call. We have a friendly, patient-focused and energetic team that is waiting for you! The qualified candidate must be professional, responsible and dependable. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated computer proficiency. The Assistant's job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist doctor with all chair-side dental procedures Take x-rays when needed Ensure patient comfort Maintain a sterilized work environment Review patient chart prior to patient arrival and accurately document patient data during exam and treatment Maintain updated information on file for each patient Maintain office inventory Front desk skills, beneficial but not required: Registering and scheduling patients Answer phones promptly and courteously Prepare patient digital record accurately and maintain updated information on each patient We offer a competitive salary based on experience with a four day work week.
