•Overview We are looking for a Dental Assistant with experience to join our growing dental practice. Our office values teamwork, patient care, and creating a positive environment for both staff and patients. This position is ideal for someone who is , dependable, and interested in growing long-term with our practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including chairside assisting in general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodotics and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Document patient medical history, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in EMR systems. Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix Ascend for patient management and record keeping. Maintain infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout the clinic. Help with basic front desk duties when needed (checking patients in/out, scheduling)

Qualifications:

Dental assisting experience is

REQUIRED

X-ray certification

PREFERRED

Strong communication and organizational skills Friendly, positive attitude with patients and team members Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in EMR systems with experience in Dentrix Ascend preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus, including familiarity with pediatric patients' needs. Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
