As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for performing accurate and consistent diagnostic imaging (Full mouth series, Panoramic, 3D CT scan Radiographs, Intraoral scans, Extraoral and Intraoral Pictures) on a timely manner. The ideal candidate is a team player that possess a will do-can do attitude We are looking for a candidate that is as efficient with their time management, as is precise with the quality of the images being taken. We will provide a training period of two work weeks for the candidate to become accustomed to the office workflow; but, we will not train on basic Imaging and Sterilization practices. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an amazing team of dental assistants who are professional, kind, organized, and always willing to help. Our team is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions and learning along the way. During your transition period, your fellow dental assistants will be there to provide hands-on training, guidance, and encouragement to help you become confident and comfortable in your new role. You will be required to have a minimum of 2 years working in a Dental office. Responsibilities and Skills Perform accurate and efficient digital full mouth series radiographs, panoramic xrays and CT scans (will train on CT scans). Assist the patient with their medical history paperwork Perform intraoral pictures (will train) Perform Extraoral Pictures (with retractors and mirrors) Adhere to Infection control standards while handling instruments and taking xrays. Sterilize instruments following OSHA and Infection control standards. Be organized while stocking back instruments. Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and team members. Ability to follow a strict set of instructions as per Office Practices. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in imaging results. Knowledge of intraoral scanners like Trios or Itero is a plus. The compensation is commensurate with the experience and skillset. The expected work schedule will be approximately 24-26 hours per week (M-Th) . We value a consistent and reliable schedule.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
