Job Description

Overview We are a family owned General Dentistry office seeking a skilled, dependable Dental Assistant to join us. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all materials are clean and ready for procedures. Assist dentist chairside during a variety of treatments including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and oral surgery procedures. Take dental X-rays and CT scans Taking impressions and digital scans and making temporary crowns Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and managing patient comfort throughout visits. Ensure infection prevention through proper sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and adherence to healthcare infection control standards. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting the dental reception team as needed. Qualifications Experience with dental assisting Team player who can help in various areas of the office Experience with scanners and dental terminology Desire to learn and grow Familiarity with general dentistry and surgical procedures Ability to work efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desire to develop relationships with patients and help them achieve health
Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
