Job Description

Temporary Experienced Dental Assistant -
Marysville Pay:
$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience Job type: Temporary, with the possibility of extension
Location:
Marysville We are seeking an experienced, dependable Dental Assistant to provide temporary coverage at our Marysville practice. The position is expected to last at least a couple of weeks and may be extended depending on the practice's needs. Because this is a temporary position, we need someone with prior dental assisting experience who can step into the role with minimal training.
Schedule:
Monday-Wednesday:
9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Thursday:
8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. No Fridays or weekends
Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures Seat patients and help them feel comfortable Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control standards Take and process dental X-rays, if properly certified Maintain accurate patient records Provide post-treatment instructions as directed Keep clinical areas organized, stocked, and running smoothly Support the dentist and clinical team throughout the workday
Qualifications:
Previous dental assisting experience is required Ability to step into the position with minimal training Current certifications or credentials required by the state Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection-control protocols Friendly, professional, dependable, and punctual Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented practice We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who can quickly become a productive member of our team while delivering excellent patient care.
