Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records for each patient. Perform infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments using dental software systems, Curve. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support various specialties including endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistry as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dental coding, dental documentation, and record management is advantageous. Familiarity with Curve or similar dental practice management systems is a plus. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and best practices in dental care. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
