Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant Lead to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining efficient operations. This role requires a strong background in dental assisting and a comprehensive understanding of general procedures and practices. Duties Lead and mentor the clinical team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate patient care activities, including preparing patients for procedures and assisting during treatments. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff. Implement aseptic techniques and four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during procedures. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct training sessions for new team members on clinical protocols and best practices. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Must have experience working as a Dental Assistant Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and procedures. Proficient understanding of anatomy relevant to dental practices. Familiarity with dental terminology and clinic operations. Expertise in infection control measures within a dental setting. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively. Competence in aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile work environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
