Awesome practice is in need of an equally awesome technician! We are looking for an experienced orthodontic Technician. This person must be innovative, able to work in a fast paced, patient-oriented environment. They must be Reliable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, detailed, and outgoing. Must possess computer and EMR knowledge, great with time management and responsible charting methods. Caring personality is a must! We have multiple office locations within the northern Virginia area, the Technician will be required to go with the doctor to these work sites. Must have experience in the following Proper instrument cleaning in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols Autoclave operation and function Identification of instruments used in the clinic. Review charts. Ability to circulate and retrieve instruments. Excellent patient care & communication. Restock supplies, forms, handouts, and rooms. Take vital signs. Familiar with all forms and handouts (procedure-based, consent forms, etc.) Aware of an in compliance with OSHA requirements (e.g personal protection) Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, filing, and charting. Make follow up phone calls to patients. May take X-Rays. Properly closing and opening the office each day (Tanks, Suction, Xray) Greet patients and make them feel comfortable.
