If you enjoy working with teens and families, stay calm on busy days, and like learning new skills, we'd love to meet you. What you'll do Prepare chairs, instruments, and materials; turn rooms efficiently between patients Assist the orthodontist during records, bonding/debonding, adjustments, and emergency visits Capture high-quality clinical records (photos, scans, and radiographs) in line with state requirements Educate patients/parents on appliances, aligner wear, elastics, and home care Maintain strict sterilization and infection-control standards; document accurately in the EHR Track lab cases, manage inventory for clinical supplies, and help the day's schedule stay on time Contribute to a friendly, professional atmosphere for patients and teammates What you bring Experience as an orthodontic assistant - 2 years or high skill level Solid chairside etiquette, clear communication, and dependable follow-through Comfort using digital tools (intraoral scanner, digital X-rays, cloud charting) Meticulous attention to detail and consistency with protocols Ability to stay steady and solutions-oriented when the schedule is full Willingness to support more than one office location as needed (reimbursed travel) Current CPR/BLS; state-required radiography certification (or ability to obtain promptly) How we work Patients first, always—clear explanations and respectful care Professional standards—on-time, prepared, and accountable Team mindset—help where it's needed and communicate early Continuous improvement—learn it, apply it, share it What's in it for you Competitive pay with merit-based increases Health and other employee benefits (eligible after an initial 90-day period) Paid time off and paid training/continuing education Growth path with defined competencies (Assistant I → II → III/Lead) A supportive team that recognizes great work and celebrates wins
