About Us:
Providence Dental Arts is a brand-new, state-of-the-art dental practice opening in Fairfax, VA. We focus on delivering high-quality, advanced digital dentistry in a modern, welcoming, and high-tech environment. We are gearing up for our grand opening and are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, and friendly Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and help us deliver an exceptional patient experience from day one.
The Role:
As a core member of our clinical team, you will work directly alongside the doctor to provide top-tier patient care. Because our practice focuses heavily on advanced procedures—including full-mouth rehabilitations, implants, endodontics, and cosmetics—you will have the opportunity to work with the latest dental technology, including CBCT scanners, digital intraoral scanners, and 3D printers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent chairside assisting (four-handed dentistry) during a variety of general, cosmetic, and surgical procedures. Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral scans. Prepare and break down operatories with strict adherence to OSHA and CDC infection control and sterilization protocols. Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring they are comfortable, informed, and relaxed. Manage clinical supplies and assist with lab case coordination (including in-house 3D printing workflows). Document patient treatments accurately in our cloud-based software (Curve Dental).
Qualifications:
Certifications:
Must hold a current Virginia Radiation Safety Certification (or
DANB RHS
) to legally take X-rays in VA. Active CPR certification required.
Experience:
Prior experience as a dental assistant is highly preferred, especially with surgical and endodontic procedures.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable operating digital scanners and learning new clinical technology.
Language:
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent chairside bedside manner, and a team-player attitude.
