Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following strict aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring accurate medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments Provide dental terminology explanations to patients to facilitate understanding of procedures and treatment plans Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing medical records efficiently Proficiency with EMR systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for accurate record keeping and documentation Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Experience with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, infection control, and aseptic technique Ability to operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners with precision Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and medical documentation practices in a dental setting Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment support Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable for working effectively with young patients Join us in delivering exceptional dental care by combining your technical skills with your passion for patient well-being.
