Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Dr. Bain has been in practice for over 40 years. Small town feel with laid back schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Assess patients' oral health by taking vital signs and recording medical histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize practiceweb software for patient management and documentation. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support overall practice operations. Experience The ideal candidate should possess: Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental hygiene practices. Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures. Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating strong communication skills.
