Dental Hygienist - Part‑Time (3 Days/Week) Overview Pacific Dental Clinic is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and patient‑focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care in a warm, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail‑oriented, and committed to promoting long‑term oral health for patients of all ages. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride application. Conduct thorough oral health assessments and review medical histories. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation using Dentrix, Oryx, or similar software. Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a positive experience for young patients. Review charts and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coding compliance. Utilize dental imaging technology to support diagnostic evaluations. Qualifications & Experience Experience in dental hygiene and familiarity with clinical documentation standards. Knowledge of general and pediatric dentistry is preferred. Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Oryx. Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset. Commitment to delivering compassionate, high‑quality patient care.
