Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description

Join Our Dental Team Are you a Registered Dental Hygienist who loves providing excellent care and would enjoy being part of a smaller, more personal practice? About the Opportunity Dental Perfections in Kapolei would be delighted to welcome a caring Registered Dental Hygienist to our team on a full-time or part-time basis. Why You'll Feel at Home
  • You will be known and appreciated by coworkers and patients in a warm, close-knit practice family.
  • You will be treated with respect and valued for the care, skill, and heart you bring to your work.
  • You will join a locally owned and operated general dental office that has proudly cared for families for more than 25 years. Here's What's Awesome About Us
  • People-first practice: We are a locally owned dental office—not a large corporate clinic—and our focus is on quality care, trusted relationships, and a positive patient experience rather than just the numbers.
  • Relationship-centered care: We take the time to build genuine connections, so each patient visit feels personal, welcoming, and supportive—not rushed or assembly-line.
  • Full-time is a 4-day work week with minimal Saturday office hours (~ 1 Saturday per month at present).
  • A generous above-average length of time is allowed per appointment so that you can take pride in the work that is done and feel good about truly helping others while nurturing quality relationships with our patients. Accelerated opportunities are available for those that want additional income.
  • We're Professional, Yet Fun! We believe in providing top-notch care in a stress-free and friendly environment, where both patients and our team feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Team-Oriented Culture! We are about creating a supportive space for everyone.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Alternative Care (chiropractic & acupuncture) Insurance.
  • PTO to recharge or can be used as a bonus.
  • Paid holidays.
  • 401 (k) with matching contributions.
At our practice, we focus on what matters most: keeping ourselves and our patients safe and healthy, supporting one another as a team, and building genuine connections with each other and the people we serve. We believe every hygiene appointment is an opportunity to encourage better home care, strengthen trust, and make patients feel truly cared for. Our culture is centered on relationships—not transactions—so someone who is motivated primarily by production goals or compensation may not be the best fit. You will be a great fit if you genuinely enjoy helping others, bring empathy and positivity to your work, and are excited to grow alongside a supportive team. We value team members who jump in where needed, whether that means helping turn over rooms, completing perio charting, taking X-rays, restocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, or supporting a teammate during a busy day. If you believe great patient care starts with teamwork, kindness, and a willingness to serve, we would love to meet you!
