Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team setting, utilizing advanced dental technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease. Assess patient oral health through clinical examinations Take digital X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Review and update medical records accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Support infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment. Collaborate with dentists to review documentation, treatment plans, and medical coding for billing accuracy. Requirements Valid Maryland state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and staff.
Pay:
