What You'll Do Provide thorough preventive and periodontal care Perform adult and child prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing Complete periodontal charting and accurately document clinical findings Provide laser-assisted hygiene care—we will help certify you if needed Administer Arestin when clinically appropriate Incorporate adjunctive products and services, such as Gum Hero, into patient care when appropriate Educate patients about oral health in a way that is clear, encouraging, and never judgmental Identify areas of concern and communicate findings effectively with the doctor Build trust with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits Maintain excellent infection-control and clinical standards Work closely with the doctors, assistants, and front-office team to keep the day running smoothly Contribute ideas that improve patient care, efficiency, and the overall hygiene experience What You Won't Have to Do Take X-rays Our assistants handles radiographs, allowing you to stay focused on what you do best: providing excellent hygiene care and connecting with your patients.
