Our team is committed to providing exceptional oral healthcare in a friendly, patient-centered environment and pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and well-cared for. The ideal candidate will be a part of a team that works closely to provide comprehensive oral health services while maintaining the highest starts of patient care and safety.
THIS POSITION IS FOR PART-TIME IN THE SUMMER AND WILL BE A FULL-TIME POSITION IN SEPTEMBER.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophy treatments
- Conduct periodontal evaluations and scaling/root planning procedures
- Take dental radiographs using digital sensors and utilizing dental AI to confirm findings
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain detailed patient record and treatment documentation using Dentrix (or similar)
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to optimize patient care, treatment planning and scheduling
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current RI dental hygiene license in good standing
- CPR certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort and safety
