Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated part-time Dental Hygienist to join our small private family practice for 1-2 days a week. About the Practice We are a general family dentistry practice serving patients young and old. We are a newer privately owned practice and opened about 4 years ago. About the Role We are looking for a experienced hygienist to work one to two days per week- preferably Wednesday/Friday. Hours are Wednesdays 11-7pm and Fridays 9-5. We are a caring and supportive office looking to add to our dynamic group. We use OpenDental and Sidexis software. Responsibilities Generalized dental hygiene procedures Digital X-rays Detailed Charting Oral hygiene instruction/education Recare scheduling Qualifications RDH license CPR certified Experience working within HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient confidentiality and manage electronic health records securely. Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and healthcare infection prevention protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental concepts clearly to patients of all ages, especially pediatrics. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail during chairside assisting tasks as needed Expected hours: 7.0 - 20.0 per week
