2988842892-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Ideal Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver patient-centered preventive and periodontal care in our modern, multi-location practices. You'll perform cleanings, periodontal therapy, radiographs, and oral health education while using advanced technology and following strict infection-control standards. Work closely with dentists and a supportive clinical team in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment with mentorship, CE, and clear career paths, positively impacting community oral health and enhancing each patient's experience. Responsibilities Provide preventive dental care including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance Perform comprehensive dental charting, periodontal assessments, and radiographs using digital imaging technology Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions in a patient-first manner Collaborate with dentists and clinical team to develop and execute individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in the practice management system Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards to ensure a safe clinical environment Support smooth patient flow, chairside efficiency, and excellent patient experience Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and training offered by Ideal Dental Identify and communicate periodontal disease, caries risk, and other oral health concerns to dentists Contribute to community-focused initiatives and uphold Ideal Dental's high-quality care standards Required Skills Dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy Dental radiography (digital X-rays) Periodontal charting and assessment Local anesthesia administration (where permitted) Infection control and sterilization (OSHA/CDC) Electronic dental records and practice management software Patient education and oral hygiene instruction Fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing treatments Instrument sharpening and maintenance Nitrous oxide monitoring/administration (where permitted)
