Major/Essential Functions Professionally clean teeth including prophylaxis and scaling and root planing Presents instructions on proper personal oral hygiene Captures digital radiographs Administers topical fluoride Disinfects surfaces and dental equipment Sterilizes dental instruments according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations Takes thorough inventory of instruments through daily counts and logs Serve as Dental Assistant when needed Proper record keeping and maintenance both in manual and automated systems Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timely manner Answer sick call requests and schedules patients in a timely manner Applicants will be considered for either a Full-Time or a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist Position. Required Qualifications Education :
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an approved dental hygiene training program; licensed to practice dental hygiene by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
