You'll ensure excellent customer service and perform administrative and basic dental tasks. Dental hygienists should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for dental appointments ensuring their comfort Sterilize instruments according to regulations Provide excellent patient care Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental area clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Create and review treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records Comfortable with children/adolescents of all ages Skills Proven experience as dental hygienist Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Progressional and presentable appearance with excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Ability to multi-task and adapt to change RDH active license required Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. CPR, HIPAA, OSHA, Human Trafficking, Nitrous Certification, etc.) Open Dental and Dexis experience (preferred) Bilingual -Spanish (preferred) Job details Pay Depending on experience Job type Full-time Schedule Monday to Friday Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount
