Perform clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. The RDA gets the patient ready, prepares the operatory and equipment and assist the doctor during examinations and treatment. Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients. Maintain equipment and inventory. Adhere to all required OSHA and health regulations. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare patients for oral examination and assist Doctors in providing treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
  • Address problems and issues with practical solutions.
Qualifications and Skills A registered dental assistant must be able to competently perform the clinical and technical dental procedures required. We ask that you be able to take quality x-rays, including FMX, Pano and anterior PA's. For safety, all assistants should also have a thorough understanding of cross contamination and how to prevent it. Assistants should also be informed and stay updated on OSHA regulations. Certificates & Courses RDA EF license, X-ray license, CPR certificate, Ultrasonic Certificate (preferred), Sealant course (preferred), Coronal polishing course (preferred) Along with a competitive salary, we offer: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays off Medical and dental insurance Vision coverage Tuition reimbursement for certifications
