We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician / Hygiene Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment while supporting our hygienists and doctors in delivering exceptional patient care. Full Time Monday -
Friday Qualifications:
Pediatric Experience Required Hygiene Assistance Experience Required Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a dental office Required Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols X-ray certification Required Current CPR/BLS certification Required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
Properly sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and operatories according to OSHA and CDC guidelines Maintain and monitor sterilization equipment and logs Set up and break down treatment rooms for hygiene and dental procedures Assist hygienists with charting, x-rays, suctioning, and patient care as needed Ensure adequate inventory of clinical supplies and restock as necessary Welcome patients to the treatment area and help them feel comfortable Accurately update patient records and assist with documentation Follow all infection control, health, and safety protocols Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling or confirming appointments
