Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Dental Ceramist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and implant restorations, utilizing advanced laboratory techniques and digital design tools. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by delivering precise, aesthetic, and functional restorations that meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Duties Fabricate custom dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported restorations using ceramics, composites, and other materials. Utilize digital design software including 3D CAD modeling and CAM software to create precise prosthetic components. Perform laboratory techniques involving ceramic layering, staining, glazing, and finishing to achieve optimal aesthetics and durability. Collaborate with dentists to interpret clinical impressions, digital scans, and medical records for accurate prosthesis fabrication. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all laboratory procedures. Ensure proper documentation of all fabrication steps in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Use laboratory equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards are met. Assist in the setup and calibration of dental equipment related to prosthetic fabrication and digital design processes. Stay current with advancements in dental materials, CAD/CAM technology, and laboratory techniques to continually improve craftsmanship. Qualifications Proven experience in dental laboratory techniques with a strong background in ceramics and prosthodontics. Proficiency in digital design for dental prosthetics using CAD/CAM software Knowledge of implantology procedures and full arch dental restoration processes. Familiarity with removable prosthodontics including complete denture fabrication. Ability to interpret dental anatomy and medical imaging for precise prosthetic fitting. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control standards. Experience working with EMR systems and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform meticulous laboratory work using microscopes and micrometers. Knowledge of implant prosthodontics procedures and the use of CAM software for custom prosthetic fabrication.
