Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a focus on general dentistry. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes. Hands-on experience performing dental procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (crowns/bridges), orthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques used for diagnosis and treatment planning. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
